Full-Time Lecturer in Business Analytics

Job description

The Department of Economics and Business at Cornell College invites applicants for a one-year appointment with the possibility of conversion to a continuing position (depending upon qualifications) in business analytics starting fall 2019.  The full-time teaching load is six courses per year. We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about undergraduate teaching and eager to lead the development of an analytics program in a liberal arts setting. Candidates will be expected to teach a variety of courses which could include data mining, optimization, data visualization. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach upper level applied analytics courses in his or her area of expertise. Candidates with a master's degree and relevant professional experience will be considered. Ph.D. or ABD near completion is preferred.
