Job Details
The Project Manager for the Student Experience Project (SEP) is a 50% time position, for the length of the grant period (January 2019 through August 2021). The SEP Project Manager will manage campus activities associated with the grant work, coordinate with SEP team members and campus stakeholders, engage with USU/APLU and CTC researchers, and ensure that campus deliverables (e.g., IRB submissions, data pulls, campus engagement activities) are completed on schedule and delivered to grantors. The position will report to the PI on the SEP, the Associate Vice Provost for Student Success.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Education/experience/licensing:
- Minimum of BS/BA degree from an accredited institution is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience and related activities within an educational or other project management setting
- Experience with project management is required experience with grant-funded projects is preferred
- Experience coordinating communication between multiple constituencies
- Demonstrated experience working successfully with a variety of constituents including faculty, administrators, students and staff
- Basic experience with data management and analysis
Communication and other skills:
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write reports and summarize data
- Commitment to diversity and inclusivity, and an ability to work effectively within a diverse university environment
- Ability to work independently and produce results while collaborating successfully with others
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in an efficient and organized manner
- Ability to work with multiple constituencies, including faculty, staff, project investigators, and granting agencies
