The University of Puget Sound invites applications for a one-year visiting instructor in Chinese language to begin fall 2019.

Responsibilities
Teaching load is two language courses per semester (a full-time load would be three courses per semester). The candidate is also expected to participate actively in the Chinese program’s extracurricular activities.

Qualifications
A master’s degree in Chinese language pedagogy or Chinese linguistics and a commitment to liberal arts education are required. Preference will be given to those with experience teaching Chinese language at the undergraduate level.
