General Summary of Position:

Reporting to the Co-Directors of the Jack M. Wilson Center for Entrepreneurship and the Donahue Center for Business Ethics & Social Responsibility, the Program Administrator will be the professional liaison between the Centers, their constituents, and the public. This role, housed within the Manning School of Business, supports marketing, operational, and administrative functions of both Centers. Responsibilities for each Center will include: developing and maintaining marketing and communications material, such as content for websites, social media feeds, and other outreach; organizing and promoting Speaker Series and other events of the Centers; providing additional support for specific initiatives such as student competitions, networking, and fundraising events; working with Directors to help manage student workers and their Center-related projects; managing Directors’ calendars, correspondence, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and other Center-related support tasks. The successful candidate will be eager to learn new skills, including training on a number of University platforms requisite to support Center initiatives. Overall, the Program Administrator is expected to assume a leadership role in contributing to the growth and development of each of these two strategic Centers.

This is a part-time position with 18 hours per week split evenly between the two Centers. Includes occasional evening event support.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ marketing and project/program related experience or Associate’s degree with 5-7 years’ marketing and project/program related experience
  • Website, social media, and digital marketing skills
  • Time management, planning, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA/MS preferred
  • Thrives in a dynamic task environment, including flexibility and creative problem solving
  • Motivated to complete work in a timely fashion, including meeting operational and reporting requirements in advance of deadlines
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and vendors, locally and globally
  • Experience maintaining confidential information

Special Instructions to Applicants:

This is a temporary, part-time, non-benefited, non-unit position with 18 hours per week split evenly between the two Centers. Includes occasional evening event support.
