Job Summary:

Savannah State University seeks applicants for Document Control Specialist. This position provides scanning and data entry support for the Office of Admissions. Organizes, scans, and logs all incoming correspondence and ensures all documents are accurately entered and correctly loaded into Banner for application processing. Examines documents for completeness; performs quality control checks to ensure data system integrity. Maintains tracking/scanning document records; assists and supports in other administrative areas as assigned. Employee may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; competitive benefits program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Secondary education is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Computer proficiency, familiarity with SCT/BANNER, and BDMSxTender is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required. Background and/or credit check may be required.
