Description:The English discipline at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) seeks positions of Lecturer beginning August 1, 2019. Successful candidates will be expected to teach a 5/5 load of lower-division, general education courses. Applicants should demonstrate significant innovation in teaching and commitment to building a new college. GGC emphasizes a student-centered learning environment. In accordance with Board of Regents policy concerning GGC faculty, successful lecturers will be eligible to receive a one year appointment. Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:Minimum- Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in the discipline (or a closely related field) on or before the semester of the start date, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline.
