Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

Develop and conduct various workshops and training sessions related to academic, social, and personal skill development

Work as a member of the “team” to support students in a way that promotes success and involvement

Maintain regular communication with student participants via phone/e-mail, etc., as directed

Maintain accurate record of contact with students

Participate in bi-weekly/monthly team meetings

Serve as a liaison between the classroom environment and campus resources and services

Make students aware of educational and co-curricular events outside the classroom

Excellent interpersonal and oral skills

Strong interest in helping other students

Must take initiative, follow instructions, and be flexible

Ability to maintain confidential information Must be proficient using current keyboarding, technology and email skills (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Internet, email. etc.)


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Must have completed at least 20 credit hours

Must have completed or tested into college level Math and English

Must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
