Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Biology seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors whose duties may include but are not limited to teaching any undergraduate or Master's level courses in:
BIOL 1132, Environmental Science; BIOL 1710 Biology for Science Majors I; BIOL 1720, Biology for Science Majors II; BIOL 2301, Human Anatomy & Physiology I; BIOL 2302, Human Anatomy & Physiology II; upper-division courses (various)

Master's degree with 18 advanced hours in an area of the biological sciences relevant to the course assignment. College teaching experience required.
Ph.D. in area of Biological Sciences
