Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Biology seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors whose duties may include, but are not limited to teaching any undergraduate or Master's level Forensic Microscopy; Forensic Molecular Biology (Forensic Genetics/Serology-DNA); other Forensics-related courses.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in area of Biological Science, with professional expertise, certification, or licensure in field or area related to Forensic Science. Forensic Molecular: Experience in Serology/DNA required. College teaching experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Forensic Genetics / Biomedical Sciences / Biological Sciences / Forensic Science, specific to course. Three years of college teaching experience
Forensic Molecular: Three years of experience in a forensic laboratory environment conducting Serology/DNA work preferred.
