Job Details
Teaching and research/scholarship in the occupational safety and health program and university service. Related duties include recruitment and advisement of students, curriculum development, grant writing, and interaction with local industry.
A classroom presentation will be required during the interview.
Minimum Education RequirementsDoctorate in environmental, health, and safety or related field required.
Minimum Experience and Skill RequirementsCandidate must be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate level coursework in environmental, health, and safety such as air and water pollution fundamentals and engineering controls, environmental regulations, and auditing/management systems. Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential to the successful candidate.
Preferred Education and/or Experience QualificationsProfessional certifications are desirable. Experience in higher education, industrial training, and online teaching experience is desirable. Candidates with experience in environmental management are preferred.
