Position Summary

The Department of Integrative Biology (IBIO) is seeking fixed term instructors to teach three online courses this coming summer session US2019. Applicants interested in more than one of these positions should submit separate applications for each position. The courses are (1) IBIO 150: From DNA to Populations, (2) IBIO 355: Ecology, and (3) IBIO 445 Evolution. All three courses are offered from May 13, 2019 through June 27, 2019 with final grades due on July 2, 2019. Appointment and pay will be from May 16 - June 30, 2019. This position may be subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining unit for the Union for Non-tenure Track Teaching (UNTF). Materials from previous offerings are available in MSU’s D2L Course Management System.

Position is planned to recur every Summer Semester

Desired Qualifications

Successful candidates are expected to have completed, or be near completion of a PhD in a field related to the course content. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching similar courses online.
