We are particularly interested in a candidate with expertise in teaching directing and acting from beginner through advanced levels from pedagogical perspectives that may include Western, non-Western, and/or global theater practices. The ability to teach movement for the stage, stage combat, acting styles, acting Shakespeare, or clowning/physical comedy would be welcome. Candidates should describe their personal and professional contributions to a diverse set of undergraduates, and should feel free to make mention of any specific knowledge, skills, and abilities related to building a diverse and inclusive educational environment. Academic administrative experience, and the ability to teach in other theater sub-disciplines are also desirable qualities of a strong candidate.
