Assistant/Associate Researcher (R3/R4)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish, manage, and conduct an active energy research program in an area of specialization that is consistent with HNEI goals, technical focus areas, and/or state needs. Identify, procure and manage resources needed to meet research program goals. Hire and supervise students and staff to meet program objectives. Actively participate in the education of students through teaching, projects, and supervision of graduate and post-graduate research. Actively support Hawaii's Clean Energy goals through research and community service. Collaborate with other HNEI and UH faculty to support integrated energy programs of importance to the university, state, and nation. Disseminate results of professional activities in peer reviewed publications, conference proceedings, and reports. Perform other duties as required.
