Web Application Developer Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 201902078082 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $48,800 - $84,350 Position Information In the Heart of Inland Southern California, UC Riverside is located on nearly 1,200 acres near Box Springs Mountain in Southern California; the park-like campus provides convenient access to the vibrant and growing Inland region. Under the supervision of the Integration Architect in University Extensions Department of Information Technology, the Web Application Developer provides information technology support to University Extensions staff, students, and instructors. Major duties include performing application development, implementation, maintenance, and support of web application through the use of development frameworks, MVC environments, SQL, PHP, and JavaScript while ensuring data integrity and security. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required
Experience Experience Requirement 2 - 4 years of related experience. Required Experience working with relational databases. Required Experience working in a PHP Framework. Required Experience working with JavaScript. Required Experience working with Applications Programming Interface (API). Preferred Experience working with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) Framework. Preferred

Minimum Requirements Knowledge of secure software development.
Knowledge of other IT related areas.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Experience with common programming tools.
Demonstrated ability to follow software specifications.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated software repository skills.
Knowledge of MVC frameworks.
Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies: SQL, PL/pgSQL, TSQL, HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
Intermediate skills associated with the design, development, modification and deployment of software, including object-oriented programming concepts.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of major web libraries: adldap, adodp, phpCAS, phpMailer recaptcha-php, tcpdf.

Knowledge of Laravel framework.
