1.To be prompt and regular in attendance.
2.To be in charge of his/her designated residence hall and work location.
3.To control noise in lobby lounges and surrounding areas of assigned residence hall.
4.To maintain a clean and attractive lobby and work area.
5.To maintain all rules and regulations of the residence hall per se and the College.
6.To exert a positive attitude and influence on the entire residence hall.
7.To help create a conducive residence hall living environment and campus community.
8.To assist in and report emergency situations to the Resident Director and as needed Public Safety.
9.To report all damages of assigned residence hall to Resident Director.
10.To minimize off-campus obligations so as to not interfere with the job duties assigned to the RHM.
11.To be familiar with key campus personnel and functions in order to refer students.
12.To monitor and retrieve proper identification for residents and their guests regarding visitation privileges.
13.To be present and accounted for in the designated location by the Resident Director.
14.To attend meetings with the Resident Director as scheduled and share comments, concerns, and/or suggestions.
15.To assume all other duties as assigned by the Resident Director or official designee in the comprehensive operation of Residence Life.

Pay Rate:
$7.25 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

Requirements
•Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
•Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours for any semester of employment.
•Must be of good character, honest and upright.
•Must have leadership ability, able to organize and direct others, display respect for others.
•Must be available days and most afternoons and not overly involved in extracurricular activities.
•Must have interest in others and a desire to help those in need, as well as the ability to discern needs of students of an assigned residence hall.
•Must be responsible in performing required duties.
•Must have the ability to follow and enforce College/residence hall rules and regulations.
•STUDENTS APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION MUST BE AVAILABLEBETWEEN THE HOURS 10AM-6PM.
