The Spectrum office of Georgia State University is looking for a Business Analyst to provide analysis and support for Financial and HR Applications of the University using PeopleSoft, Oracle, Sciquest and ADP.   The ideal candidate would function as a team member for the group supporting these applications by analyzing requirements, developing and testing applications, maintaining security & workflow, developing reports and queries.

The scope of responsibility will include these specific duties but is not limited to the following,

  • Assists in devising and maintaining a plan of operation that will facilitate the efficient functioning of our Financial & HR Applications

  • Performs data collection and analysis on requests for the systems supported by the Spectrum Office such as the queries for the Financial System, and queries for the SciQuest system

  • Participate in discussion groups to recommend design improvement

  • Develops and disseminate standardized reports blending data from financial and HR systems to support data-informed decision making

  • Responsible for system documentation and establishes protocols to assure data integrity

  • Responsible for testing and updating new patches and systems as required

  • Maintain Security and Workflow for PeopleSoft Financials, ADP and Sciquest Applications

  • Assists with training and work on resolving help desk tickets assigned to the team



QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or Information technology and four years of related experience
