Position: Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Assistant College Lecturer.

Start Date: August 19, 2019

Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a minimum of 24 credit hours per year of undergraduate courses with a focus on Mechanical Engineering Technology. Service activity may include developing online courses, proposing laboratory improvements, developing new laboratory instructional materials, participating in committees, and assisting with program accreditation.

Qualifications: Minimum:
For Visiting Assistant Professor, a Doctoral Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.

For Visiting Assistant College Lecturer, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or closely related field.

Preferred: Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field; experience in teaching engineering or engineering technology; relevant industrial experience; excellent communication skills; the ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.
