The Operations & Information Management (OIM) Department of the Isenberg School of Management invites applications for a full-time lecturer position, non-tenure track, in fall 2019. The initial appointment will be for two years, with renewal for an additional two years based on performance. This full-time position requires teaching six course sections per academic year in the area of statistics, plus providing departmental service. Teaching responsibilities include an introductory course in business statistics, and other related courses in analytics as needed. After four years of satisfactory employment, the appointment may convert to a permanent position with promotion opportunities such as Senior Lecturer.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in statistics or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • Teaching experience or evidence of expertise in statistics.
  • The ability to teach in analytics-related areas such as data mining, data visualization and programming (VBA, Python or R).
  • Demonstrated ability or potential to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level in face-to-face and distance education formats.
