Participants of the post-graduate fellowship program will be offered a stipend in line with national fellowship salary guidelines set by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Essential Functions

• Direct Clinical Services & Case Management:
  • Work with SoT Clinical Case Manager to develop plan for connection to mental health services including the TDRC and community based mental health services.
  • Provide psychoeducation around what to expect when accessing and rights related to mental health services.
  • Seek, develop and coordinate community referrals to facilitate biopsychosocial rehabilitation goals of clients.
  • Monitor and evaluate service delivery and client progress in meeting occupational, educational, social and other recovery goals related to clients mental health needs in collaboration with Clinical Case Manager.
  • Meet with clients as needed to provide support to increase attendance and reduce attrition.
  • Cover clinical needs when the TDRC student clinicians are away for the summer.
  • Actively participate in termination and discharge planning.
    
    
    
• Client Documentation:
  • Complete functional assessment and develop individual community support plan in coordination with the client, healing team, and others within 30 days of first meeting.
  • Complete initial paperwork assessments per TDRC requirements.
  • Complete session case notes, psychological assessment reports, grant reporting documentation appropriately to meet federal grant and clinic requirements.
  • Review and update care plans, in collaboration with the grant Clinical Case Manager, every 6 months for clients.
    
    
    
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team context.
  • Provide input to team members regarding client's biopsychosocial progress and seek input from other about related treatment needs.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, administrative reviews and informal consultations as needed.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Program Evaluation team.
  • Assist with community consortium meetings, relaying importance of MHPSS needs, discussing importance of cross-discipline collaboration, and the unique trauma-informed skills required when providing support to this population.
    
    
    

It is expected that the above tasks will require:

• Average 20 hours/week commitment.
• Minimum 6-month commitment (March-August)
• Two hours of case consultation monthly
• One-hour individual supervision plus Training/supervision 2 Friday mornings from 11-1
• Completion of all clinical and agency paperwork & billing
• A minimum of two audio/video recordings per year

Required Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in a mental health field recognized by DORA.
• Licensed or License eligible as an LPC, PsyD, PhD or LMFT.
• Or licensed LCSW
• Two+ years of cross-cultural experience providing psychological services, including trauma treatment to survivors of trauma in social services or health care / mental health setting, to include the ability to intervene appropriately in a therapeutic manner based on the psychological presentation of clients

Work Schedule

• Part-time, 20 hours per week
• Varied schedule
