Job Description
Occupational SummaryCoordinate, develop and participate in generation, publication, sharing, analysis and governance of multiple types of digital content and related communications in support of DUHS institutional and consumer marketing strategies; serve as editor for the consumer website blog; write and develop consumer-focused marketing materials.
Work Performed

  • Coordinate, develop and participate in generation, publication and governance of multiple types of digital content and related communications in support of DUHS institutional and consumer marketing strategies. (30%)
  • Serve as editor of the Duke Medicine blog; generate story ideas; conduct interviews; research keywords; develop SEO-rich content; work with videographers and photographers; assume full responsibility for copy editing and proofreading. (30%)
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with service line directors and clinicians to ensure website content is reviewed annually, remains clinically accurate and up to date. Consult with service line representatives to identify content gaps and develop new content to fill those needs. (15%)
  • Oversee sharing and monitoring of content on social media channels. (15%)
  • Work with marketing managers and directors to write and develop consumer-focused, marketing materials including direct mail, rack cards, etc. (10%)
  • Monitor and analyze communications activities to optimize strategies for communicating to consumer audience. (10%)
