This position supports the Vice President of Hemispheric and Global Affairs, to develop the strategies and key initiatives to build and/or enhance global partnerships consistent with UM’s strategic plan.  The role will set the steps to find, establish and implement successful international partnerships (with higher education institutions, business organizations, government organizations, non-governmental organizations, multinational organizations). For each partnership goals will be set as well as time-frames for achievement. Similarly, the process to download the partnership relationship within UM will have to be designed, so as to take the most advantage for each relationship. Partnerships with Universities, Corporate sector, NGOs, Governments, international organizations, etc.

Definition of goals and criteria to evaluate and find appropriate partnerships. Strategic planning on partnerships and metrics. Due diligence, criteria for new partnerships. Analysis of existing partnerships performance, and follow up on outcomes of new partnerships Strategic planning on new  and old partnerships Engagement and dialogue  with Schools to find needs, desires of new partnerships, and an  evaluation of existing partnerships Special attention to the creation of internships and other opportunities for students from UM.  Assurance of promotion and development of partnerships within UM (schools, colleges, etc.). Work with Vice-President for expanding the relations with multinationals, international, national and local partners for the creation of international opportunities.  Strategic plan to address these relations and the outcomes desired from them. Work with relevant leaders of UM on accreditation, logistics, dual degrees possibilities, etc. that might arise from new or old partnership projects.

Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s Degree.
•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
