The Center for Information Technology Policy (https://citp.princeton.edu) is an interdisciplinary research center at Princeton that sits at the crossroads of engineering, the social sciences, law, and policy. CITP seeks candidates at all levels for our Visiting IT Policy Fellow appointments. These are typically nine-month appointments, commencing on September 1. We are happy to hear from anyone working at the intersection of digital technology and public life, including experts in computer science, sociology, economics, law, political science, public policy, information studies, communication, and other related disciplines. Visiting IT Policy Fellows must be in-residence and on leave from a full-time position while at CITP. Candidates who will not be on leave from a full-time position should apply instead to the IT Policy Researcher position. Visiting IT Policy Fellows will conduct research and engage in the Center's public programs. Applicants must apply online at https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/9442. Please submit a current curriculum vitae, a research plan, and a cover letter describing your background, interest in the program, and salary requirements, noting any support you will be receiving during that period, such as sabbatical funding. We prefer to receive applications between the beginning of November and the end of December for full consideration, please submit your application during that period. Preference will be given to applicants who have a current or past professorship in a related field. Please see our website (https://citp.princeton.edu/people) for a list of past fellows. An advanced degree is required. If you have any questions about this position or the application process, please feel free to contact us at citp@princeton.edu.
