JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: MGA’s primary mission is teaching. Courses are delivered in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and video-conference formats. The School offers a Bachelor of Science in Business degree and a Master of Science in Management degree. The successful candidate will:

• Provide excellent teaching to undergraduate students in a variety of delivery formats, primarily centered on the University’s Cochran and Dublin campuses.

• Engage in service to the School, University, and community.

• The opportunity to participate in research activities will be available.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess an earned Master’s Degree in a Business related field, with at least 18 graduate hours in a combination of Management and Marketing, from a regionally accredited institution

• Demonstrated teaching excellence.

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Prior teaching experience; industry experience is a plus.

• Experience with online, hybrid, and/or other alternative delivery formats is preferred.

SALARY: Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience.

About the School of Business at Middle Georgia State University: The Mission of the School of Business is to provide high quality undergraduate business programs targeted primarily to meet Central Georgia workforce needs. About Macon, Georgia: Macon, the main campus for Middle Georgia State University’s School of Business, is located in the middle of the state where major interstates 75 and 16 intersect. Considered the “Heart of Georgia,” Macon is just a little more than an hour from Atlanta and two and a half hours from the coast. Founded in 1823 near the Ocmulgee River, Macon – now Macon Bibb-County – is Georgia’s fourth largest city. The city has a renowned past with more than 5,500 entries on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Ocmulgee National Monument celebrating 17,000 years of history. There are also various public and private educational options from K-12 to the college/university level.
