Description: Hartwick College Department of Nursing is accepting applications on a continuing basis for adjunct instructors for both our clinical and laboratory based nursing courses at the freshman and sophomore levels. Clinical sites include acute and long term care agencies in Otsego County. Requirements include a master’s degree in nursing, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, an unencumbered NYS RN license, and at least three years of recent clinical experience. Consideration will be given to those candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in nursing who are actively engaged in coursework leading to a master’s degree in nursing. Prior teaching experience and/or prior teaching at the collegiate level is preferred. Duties may include teaching in the clinical and/or laboratory setting, evaluation, and collaboration with course coordinators.

Study Abroad and Off-Campus Study
Hartwick students travel everywhere, from Italy to India, for January Term, semester-long, or year-long programs. Athletics
Hartwick sponsors 18 intercollegiate teams, 8 for men and 10 for women. Hartwick sports compete at the NCAA Division III level. Many of Hartwick's Division III teams participate in the Empire 8 conference.
