Custodial/Environmental Services Instructor (adjunct) is a part-time faculty member and is expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and high academic standards. Will provide instruction in classroom as well as site-work application regarding custodial/commercial cleaning. Completion of required institutional and community college paperwork as needed. The majority of this time will be spent in preparation and direct instruction as well as accessibility to students.

Staff Required Education/Experience:

Faculty Required Education/Experience Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in custodial services. Capability of delivering instruction in a classroom setting. Ability to demonstrate cleaning equipment, with knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their appropriate application.

Desired Education/Experience/Skills:

- Experience in commercial cleaning and experience in adult education/instruction preferred.
- Knowledge of job-seeking and job-retention skills also preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Willingness to work in a prison facility with incarcerated individuals and follow rules and regulations of both the community college and the prison facility.

Department: Community Programs Work Hours:

8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with 1-hour lunch break (unpaid), three days per week.

5.Successfully prepare, manage, and deliver course content in order to achieve course objectives, accommodate diverse learning styles, and meet administrative requirements. When applicable, ensure laboratories are appropriately stocked with required supplies and equipment is in safe operating order.
