Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor of Electrical Engineering Technology

Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor of Electrical Engineering Technology faculty position in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, which begins August 2019.

Candidates should possess expertise in at least one of the following areas: instrumentation and testing, analog systems (RF and Audio), and systems and automation. Responsibilities will include teaching, scholarship, and service. Tenure-track faculty are expected to spend 30% of their workload in the area of research/scholarship.

An earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology (or the foreign equivalent), and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience is required. More than 3 years of non-academic experience and a professional engineer’s license are a plus. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate an interest in mentoring and advising students. College level teaching experience and online teaching experience are desirable.
