The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in collaboration with the Office of Population Research, invites outstanding researchers to apply for appointment as a Postdoctoral or more senior Research Associate. Primary criteria are the quality of the applicant's research and expertise in demographic research on family structure and child wellbeing, with emphasis on father involvement and child support. Expertise on the impact of housing and young children would be helpful as well. The position provides an outstanding opportunity for independent research, and especially opportunities for collaboration with Princeton faculty. Appointment will be for one year, starting on July 1, 2018, with the possibility of renewal contingent on satisfactory performance and funding. The selected candidate is expected to be in residence during the term of appointment. Applicants must have a doctorate by the time of the appointment and demonstrate commitment to conduct primary research in the areas outlined above, in consultation with Drs. Kathryn Edin and Timothy Nelson. Applicants should submit a cover letter (indicating relevant qualifications and plans for research and writing), a curriculum vitae, and contact information for three references.
