To help the Auxiliary Services department accomplish its objectives and its revenue goals. Serves as lead coordinator, contract administrator, and business manager for all NOVA Printing programs. Assists the Associate Director in day to day management of contracts, activities, and operations. Provides strategic business counsel and to the Associate Director concerning optimizing all Auxiliary Services’ operations and Contracted Services.Duties and Responsibilities
Oversight of college printing services operations, including contracted student copy/print, contracted faculty/staff printing equipment, and managed print programs.
Provides strategic planning and business development, monitoring, evaluation, and support to the college’s Auxiliary Services enterprise activities. Utilizes innovative and entrepreneurial approach to enhance auxiliary services programs.
Contract management and procurement analysis to ensure contracts are current and comply with all applicable state laws, rules and regulations, assisting other College employees in regulation and production of well-crafted contractual instruments while assuring the College’s objectives are met and its mission fostered.
Ensure that services are operated in a manner consistent with good office practices and college policies and procedures. Prospect and implement new sources of income for the College. To support the Associate Director in entrepreneurial initiatives, vendor relations and contractual relationships, maximizing service to students and others while increasing revenue.
To help ensure college contracts are current and comply with all applicable state laws, rules and regulations, assisting other College employees in regulation and production of well-crafted contractual instruments while assuring the College’s objectives are met and its mission fostered. To generate more revenue from non-traditional income sources and enhance the students campus life.
To enhance the campus experiences of college students providing amenities and activities that they will appreciate and use.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field, or equivalent experience or training.
VCO certificate or significant experience in public contract management or procurement.
Personnel management training, experience, or certificates.Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience or training.
Previous experience working in a higher education auxiliary services, enterprise services, or business services environment.
Previous experience negotiating with high level and high profile accounts and professional managers.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of office management practices.
Excellent customer service skills using oral and written communications to promote understanding and solve problems.
Ability to interpret and apply complex state regulations in positive manner to gain support and understanding in higher education operations.
Negotiating skills and ability to build relationships with private companies and vendor representatives.
Understanding of nontraditional sources of revenue classified as auxiliary or additional income.
