Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator serves as Scholarship and Student Support’s lead for marketing/communications, gift acknowledgments, and special projects. Manages implementation of vision for the future of central advancement initiatives in alignment with the university’s strategic plan.

Directs strategy in developing relevant, compelling marketing initiatives that cultivate relationships and share impact to support revenue generating activities for the university; manages/creates marketing materials from conception to completion that support the university including executive leadership, central advancement, annual giving, etc.; partners with University Marketing on the development of donor engagement strategies, content curation, creative design and production of donor communications; collaborates with University Marketing/Advancement Communications to implement university style, voice and tone and brand standards across marketing for events; support campus-wide scholarship stewardship initiatives in collaboration with the Donor Experience team.

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will have the proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple work streams and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met and to maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment. Desired Qualifications

Experience in higher education; knowledge of HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems and project management tools/methods; appreciation for and knowledge of design principles; design capabilities.
