Bucknell University seeks applicants for the position of T.E.A.M. Program Assistant within the Office of Multicultural Student Services who is student-centered, a creative-thinker, inclusive, engaging, and will promote Multicultural Student Life to the campus community. This position lies within Diversity & Inclusion, a division of student affairs which houses International Student Services, Lesbian, Gay Bisexual Trans* and Queer Resources, Multicultural Student Services, Religious Life and the Women’s Resource Center.

The T.E.A.M. Program Assistant serves as an integral member of Multicultural Student Services, providing a broad range of high touch, high impact resources aimed at retention, success, support and programming for the Together Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M.) mentoring program. T.E.A.M. is a growing peer mentoring program for underrepresented students with 65 scholars and mentors who have weekly activities ranging from individual meetings and staff meetings, to social gatherings and academic readiness programs.

This position reports to the Director of Multicultural Student Life and requires some evening and weekend work. This is a temporary, 20-hour a week position expected to end no later than July 1, 2019.

Job Duties:
- Co-facilitate on-going leadership development opportunities
- Meet with and supervise TEAM mentor staff including individual advising
- Coordinate with TEAM mentors monthly social, cultural and enrichment programs
- Support the development of a strong community with the program and subsets of the program
Co-direct the RAMP-Up Pre-Orientation Program
- Recruit, screen, select and train the Peer Assistants and Peer Leaders
- Plan, coordinate and execute all aspects of Ramp-Up programming
- Assist in transporting participants to/from various events
- Facilitate sessions on high school to college transition and student success
- Be available to respond to emergent issues as needed in collaboration with Director of MSS
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- One year of full time equivalent experience working with underrepresented populations in a college/university setting
- Driver’s license with clean driving record for a minimum of 2 years
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as ability/willingness to learn programs such as InDesign, Adobe, Photoshop, and Google platforms.
- Strong intercultural competence and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience managing staff and complex projects

Preferred Qualfiications:
- Demonstrated commitment to career growth in higher education
- Marketing and communication skills especially with regard to use of technology
