The Equal Justice Works Crime Victims Justice Corps is a legal fellowship program designed to increase capacity and access to civil legal help for crime victims.

These summer internship positions will focus on assisting immigrant victims of crime with immigration applications, family violence protective orders, and other legal needs. The students will support the Equal Justice Works Crime Victims Justice Corps Fellow and the directors in the Family Justice Clinic and Community Health Law Partnership.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

-Minimum of one year of law school and good academic standing in accredited law school;
-Interest in family law, immigration law, or related fields;
-Ability to research state and federal issues and produce clear, concise written documents;
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with a diverse employee and client population;
-Background or interest in immigration, family law, or community service;
-Spanish language skills preferred
