Job Details

 Wells College invites applicants for a Full-Time,
Tenure-Track position in Modern Languages/Spanish to begin in August 2019. In
addition to teaching courses in Spanish language and culture, the successful
candidate will administer programs in modern languages, develop courses that
serve the General Education Curriculum in language and culture, and serve as a
faculty advisor for different off-campus study programs. The
successful candidate will demonstrate ability to teach language acquisition in
innovative ways and will facilitate and respond to diverse student learning
needs.

Required Qualifications:  

• Ph.D. in Spanish, completed by August 2019 

• Experience teaching in a higher education setting  

  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with other modern languages

Wells College is a nationally recognized private coeducational liberal arts college located in Aurora, New York, on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake. It was established in 1868 by Henry Wells, founder of the Wells Fargo and American Express Companies.
