Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Direct Marketing, a unit within the Office of Development (OOD), the Data Marketing Specialist is responsible for providing a wide variety of analytical data to inform internal stakeholders' strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of direct appeal campaigns.
Direct Marketing:
The Office of Development's (“OOD”) Direct Marketing team provides multi-channel integrated marketing support for Stanford University's Office of Development. Team members work in close collaboration with schools and units across campus to achieve school and unit annual giving revenue goals.
This position will be moving to the Stanford Redwood City Campus in April 2019.
Your responsibilities will include:
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Previous experience with market research and data analysis and proven track record of implementing successful marketing programs.
- Basic knowledge and demonstrated experience using and applying analytical software, database management systems, or data visualization tools.
- Demonstrated problem solver and ability to produce data in a clear and understandable manner.
- Experience with project management and successfully managing multiple projects with competing priorities
- Proven customer service skills and experience influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization to achieve a common goal.
- Excellent written and oral communication, listening, and presentation skills.
