The University of Miami’s Department of Theatre Arts invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor faculty positions with an emphasis on Acting. This is a full-time, nine-month appointment to begin August 15, 2019, with teaching assignments of 3 courses per semester and the possibility of directing a departmental production in lieu of one course. Candidates given strongest consideration will have experience teaching acting at the collegiate level across a range of acting styles and methodologies. Those with secondary specializations in voice and speech or movement are particularly encouraged to apply. Qualifications: MFA degree in Acting and teaching experience at the college level.
