About the College/Department

The Transit and Parking Department is responsible for the operation of Razorback Transit, a public mass transit system serving the University of Arkansas campus and about half the city of Fayetteville; the Safe Ride program, providing transportation for students after-hours; a Charter Bus Service for campus affiliates; the Razorbike program, a loaner bicycle program for students, staff and faculty; and the campus parking program, consisting of four parking garages and over 100 parking lots.

The Parking Control Supervisor is responsible for the patrol, maintenance, and upkeep of the official University parking areas. Other duties as assigned.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least two years of experience in parking control, including one year of supervisory experience

  • At least two years of experience in parking control

  • Ability to assign schedules and supervise the work of subordinates
  • Ability to develop and explain parking rules and regulations
  • Ability to analyze parking control problems and recommend corrective actions
