Trinity Christian College is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for the Provost’s Office. This is a Half-time position with flexible days and hours. This position has potential, but not a requirement, for expansion to full-time beginning mid-summer 2019. Supports the academic operation of the College by performing essential administrative tasks within the Provost’s office. This includes coordinating, processing multiple reporting, document collection processes, coordinating, and processing new and adjunct faculty recruiting, coordinating and processing budgets related to faculty development programs, and event planning and coordination.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Primary management of the general provost’s office email, categorizing, archiving, and responding.
  • Oversight and coordination of processes related to academic operations, such as collecting, collating, and archiving academic administration documentation from academic departments.
  • Coordination and processing of new and adjunct faculty recruiting, including direct interface with candidates, organization of candidate and campus interview schedules, candidate travel schedules, and all reimbursements.
  • Coordination and processing of documentation and reimbursements related to faculty development and training programs.
  • Event planning and coordination.
  • Answers and screens some telephone calls, and arranges conference/video calls.
  • Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.
  • Conducts research, and compiles and types statistical reports.
  • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Excellent computer and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to use online video conferencing software
