Description:The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program provides part-time employment (no more than 19 hours per week) to students attending institutions of higher education who need the earnings to help meet their costs of postsecondary education. Federal Work-Study Student position(s) job descriptions are located in the Office of Financial Aid; currently in the "D" Building. Depending on the department assigned the duties will vary.
The Office of Human Resources is in need of a Federal Work-Study student to assist responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Administrative duties such as filing, copying/scanning, creating labels and phone support.
- Greeting Faculty, Staff and Students in the reception area.
- Assisting with HR projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be eligible to receive Federal Work-Study funds.
- Must have and maintain good academic standing.
- Must must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- Must be able to handle confidential information.
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to interact professionally with Faculty, Staff, Students and the general public.
