The University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Database Programmer Analyst.

This Database Programmer Analyst's responsibilities will be to provide support for Load testing, Division of IT Change Management, and PeopleSoft Change Management. This position will assist in the following efforts and follow organizational change and testing methodologies.  Primary tasks will include:
•           Load Testing support consists of determining the budget and negotiating a price with the Consultant Company. Coordinating the following teams to ensure we have the business scenarios to set, as well as supporting data, have the appropriate servers up and running, monitored, as well as supported during the load testing.  Teams; Application team, PSADMIN team, Database team, server and storage teams. 
•           DoIT Change Management consists of running the weekly meetings which identifies all scheduled changes to Production Instances.  We verify that the changes are documented, reviewed and coordinated with all DoIT teams involved, or affected by the change.  Change Moratoriums are reviewed and scheduled around back to school activities that occur in the Spring and Summer.  We also confirm that the DoIT Change Management policies and procedures are followed.
•           PeopleSoft Change Management consists of providing support to the PeopleSoft Development, PSADMIN and Security teams. This includes identifying UM custom PeopleSoft modifications that are affected by an application fix or upgrade.  We assist in both quarterly patching and application upgrades and fixes.  We ensure that the development teams follow procedures when promoting code from the development environments to the test environments.  We are responsibly for promoting and verifying developer’s code for the quality assurance and production environments, during scheduled maintenance windows.  This includes, but is not limited to; verifying all code compiles without error as well as communicating the application updates to the customers.  We are responsible to maintaining, supporting and running the Phire version control software.  This includes verification of real-time interface feeds from Cherwell, setting up and configuring release cycles, and supporting all components delivered with the version control software.
