Present Position Number F0033W Role Title Assistant Professor/9-Mth Position Title Visiting Asst Prof English & Linguistics (Typology and/or Language Docum.) Position Summary

The Department of English and the Linguistics Program at William & Mary invite applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track visiting position that will begin August 10, 2019. We seek an individual with expertise in and ability to teach typology and field methods. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a 3-3 teaching load, which will also include the Program’s introductory course and a seminar on a topic of expertise. A Ph.D. in Linguistics or related field is expected at the time appointment begins (August 10, 2019).
