About the PositionThe Mobile Application Developer will be responsible for supporting and administering mobile applications, as well as developing, enhancing and implementing new mobile applications. This includes business analysis, project management, programming and implementing such solutions. These solutions will include purchased vendor solutions and internally developed solutions. Support involves technical configuration and changes, resolving user issues, working with any vendors and ensuring the performance and reliability of the application.
Minimum Qualifications-A Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or business, or equivalent training and applied experience
-Three years of experience in business applications analysis, design, and programming for medium or large scale, multi-programmed computers
Preferred Qualifications-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
-3-5 years of IT application development with .Net/C#, Java and web languages
-2-3 years of mobile application development and support
-Experience supporting vendor Higher Education mobile solutions
-Demonstrated strong knowledge in either/both C# and Java
-Working knowledge of Mobile application frameworks, development and tools.
-Working knowledge of web and mobile application design and operation; Including information architecture, web standards, browser/platform compatibility, site maintenance, and database design.
-Strong knowledge of web and mobile application tools, scripting languages, and HTML.
-Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management processes.
-Working knowledge of infrastructure and web/mobile application software stack, including Linux, Apache, and similar software and tools.
-Good knowledge of Portal or App Store solutions including setup, administration and configuration.
-Skilled in iSupport use, processes and fields.
-Working knowledge of ITS processes includes ITIL Support Operations including Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
-Good documentation writing, organizing information, writing FAQs, and using Confluence.
-Working knowledge of monitoring configuration and Nagios.
-Basic knowledge of Accessibility and Section 508 requirements.
