Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Computer Engineering

Department of Computer Engineering

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Computer Engineering faculty position in the Department of Computer Engineering, which begins August 2019.

  • Teach courses in subject areas of computer, electrical, and software engineering.
  • Engage in active research activities leading to publications and funding acquisitions
  • Mentor and advise students
  • Contribute to building a best-in-class computer engineering department and program
  • Participate in service committees and work groups
  • Ph.D in Computer and/or Electrical Engineering or related field or its foreign equivalent.
  • Industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record and potential to engage in research and acquire funding.
  • Teaching experience at the college level is ideal.
  • Expertise in the areas of digital and embedded systems, computer networks, IoT, or artificial intelligence.
  • Knowledge and experience in software development and product development is a plus.
