Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor of Computer Science faculty position in the Department of Computer Science, which begins August 2019.

Candidate’s research interest and expertise have to be in computer science. Preference will be given to candidates working on one or more of the following fields: Data Science and Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Security, Robotics, Internet-of-Things, Computer Graphics and Visualization, Cloud Computing, and strong candidates in other related research fields will also be considered. All candidates should be committed to excellence in teaching, and have demonstrated potential in research.

Successful candidate will be expected to teach Computer Science at graduate and undergraduate levels, to supervise graduate and undergraduate students conducting research, to establish an externally funded research program, and be involved in service activities. An earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field, or the foreign equivalent is required. Degree must be earned by August 2019 start date.
