Job Details
Position:
Adjunct instructor needed to teach Physics 101: Introduction to Physical Science in Trinity’s Adult Undergraduate program. Physics 101 is an introductory course for non-majors. This class is an introductory lab-based course on the basic laws and principles of classical physics, atomic physics and chemistry. Time is divided between units on: mechanics, heat and waves, electricity, atomic physics, and chemistry.
Dates/Times: One night per week (6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.) for 11 weeks (May 6, 2019 through August 16, 2019).
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in physics, chemistry, or engineering required.
Trinity seeks candidates for faculty positions who are professing Christians and committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning.
