General Summary Is responsible for all donor outreach and services, including on-air, digital, direct mail and stewardship for annual fund, planned giving and major gifts. This will include cultivating and enhancing relationships with current and prospective donors by implementing strategies to identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and recognize giving.
Additional Information:
Required Qualifications 1.Bachelor's degree in communications related
2.5 years professional experience in non-profit fund raising.
3.Valid driver's license
4.Ability to balance creative thinking and planning with attention to detail.
5.Strong organizational and communication skills.
6.Knowledge of basic computer software.
7.Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a history indicating initiative and creativity.
8.Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities within a team setting and within a large, diverse group of people.
9.If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
Desired Qualifications: 1. Familiarity with public media fund raising techniques and CRM/donor legacy software.
2. 10 years of professional experience in non-profit fund raising.
Necessary Licenses/Certifications/Degrees 1.Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
2.5 years professional experience in non-profit fund raising. .
3.Valid driver's license
Hiring Rate/Range Commensurate with experience and qualifications
Work Hours Generally Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate
