Position Summary:
Galley. The Executive Chef ensures the quality presentation of all food served established by the Director of Culinary Excellence.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares food using techniques such as cooking, roasting, baking, and the preparation of skillet meals.
  • Ensures compliance with menus, recipes, production schedules, and quality standards.
  • Participates in daily testing of foods.
  • Delegates duties and responsibilities of food service work to subordinates appropriately and holds employees accountable.

    Minimum Education Required:
    Associate’s Degree or equivalent vocational / technical training(additional experience may substitute for some of the education requirement)

    Seven or more years of work-related experience

    Could a level of education higher than the minimum required for the position substitute for the minimum level of job-related experience?: No

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
