The CGM serves to promote a global management mindset in students, faculty, alumni and the broader community through its programming, including courses, events, seminars, research, global course development and community engagement on and off campus that enhance UCLA Anderson's global footprint and deepen the global roots of the school.

In coordination with the Executive Director, the Assistant Program Manager will be responsible for the organization, coordination and scheduling of annual short-term international student exchange programs and the enrollment and advising of students; as well as the planning, coordination, logistics, class management and implementation of global immersion courses for all MBA program students. The CGM's global immersion courses provide an opportunity for students across all four of UCLA Anderson's MBA programs to acquire direct international exposure to emerging countries during the elective phase of their degree at UCLA Anderson. These courses are taught by UCLA Anderson faculty with complimentary site visits, lectures and presentations provided by high-level, in-country business, policy and government leaders. The Assistant Program Manager will also assume responsibility for the operation of important activities associated with these courses including student enrollment and registration, maintaining systems and providing analyses and reports, in-country program management, financial management as well as implementation and oversight of instructional media. He/she will be expected to travel internationally as the sole staff representative to assist with the management of the global immersion courses and be required to attend off-campus site meetings and events for the center locally. In coordination with the Director, he/she will also be responsible for implementation of CGM's on-campus student programming including managing the administration, coordination, operations and successful logistical implementation of events and global management seminars for international students.

The Assistant Program Manager is expected to be well versed in program, course and student affairs policies and regulations and ensure that current and accurate information is provided to students, faculty, partner universities and vendors. He/she will work with various cross-campus units, such as the Dashew Center and UCLA Insurance and Risk Management. He/she is also expected to have proven experience in student affairs, class and program management as well as event and course management. A demonstrated high level of customer service including student and faculty support, exemplary organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are critical to carry out the range of activities. The Assistant Program Manager is required to use judgement and sensitivity and act independently to fulfill course and program objectives and maintain a professional manner at all times when interfacing with internal personnel (i.e. faculty, cross-campus units, students and staff) as well as external contacts (i.e., partner institutions, vendors, guest speakers, alumni, etc.) in both written and oral communications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop and working with HTML files. Required 20. Ability and willingness to learn new technology to support, enhance, and create programs and ensure that knowledge of the department stays current. Required 21. Knowledge and understanding of university financial and travel policies, purchasing processes, and reimbursement procedures. Preferred 22. Knowledge of University procedures and databases: BAR, SR Web, OASIS, Bruinbuy. Preferred 23. Working knowledge of graduate management programs Preferred 24.
