Professional research and/or teaching experience in aging in place, assisted living, residential health facilities, long term care, health care services organizational behavior and analysis, health insurance, population health, or quality/process improvement is favored; exceptional candidates with experience in related areas will be considered.

The School of Health Professions and Human Services is home to three flourishing departments: Health Professions; Speech-Language Hearing Sciences; and Counseling and Mental Health Professions. The Department of Health Professions has over 400 undergraduate students and over 200 graduate students in its Master of Public Health, Master of Health Administration (MHA), Health Informatics, Occupational Therapy and Sports Science programs.

The MHA Program at Hofstra University is a large and dynamic program that draws both early and mid-career students from across the health care continuum. Academic-based faculty as well as health care executives provide expertise and resources to the program offering students a rich theoretical and applied foundation in health care administration.
Qualifications:Candidates must hold a PhD, or equivalent degree, by August 1, 2019. Preference will be given to candidates with an established record or demonstrated potential for teaching excellence, scholarly activity, mentoring students, and working with community groups.

The successful candidate will instruct graduate students in the Master of Health Administration program and related graduate programs.
