Job Details
The Associate Vice Provost & Director of the Libraries is the chief administrative officer for the UWM Libraries and reports directly to the Provost & Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, serves as a member of the Academic Leadership Council, and participates in the business of the Deans. The Director must be a person who can build on the strengths and initiatives of the UWM Libraries for advancement of the Libraries’ mission, campus goals, and responsible stewardship of funds in alignment with UWM’s strategic directions. The incoming Director should bring a spirit of innovation, creativity, and a keen understanding of the changing needs of academic libraries, especially those in service to universities with a dual access and research mission.
