Now fully coed, Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, has over 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Health Sciences, the Falk School of Sustainability and Environment, and the School of Arts, Science and Business. Chatham University invites applications for a full-time 12-month renewable term faculty for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor. We are currently in the process of transitioning our Master of Occupational Therapy Program to an entry level Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD), and are seeking candidates to join our group of faculty leaders committed to academic excellence and innovative practice. Responsibilities include teaching in areas of expertise, mentorship of students through capstone projects, and achieving University hallmarks in scholarship and community service. We provide a collaborative, collegial environment in which to further the program’s excellent reputation for entry-level and post professional education.

The position is based within the School of Health Sciences – which includes undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science and Nursing and graduate degrees in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Counseling Psychology, Athletic Training, and Healthcare Informatics. The successful candidate will hold an earned doctorate, a minimum of five years of clinical experience, evidence of engagement in scholarly work, and eligibility for occupational therapy licensure in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities of the position include fieldwork/teaching, student advisement, scholarship, and service to the university and community.
