Job Summary:

The candidate will be assigned to the OSU College of Medicine - Cherokee Nation (OSUCOM-CN) Tahlequah, OK Campus.

This position will be non-tenure track.

Position will be actively involved in planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of appropriate courses in partnership with faculty and staff at OSUCOM in Tulsa. Participate in interviewing, mentorships, advisement, and career counseling of medical students and residents.

This position will be actively involved in the clinical care of patients.

70% - Medical Student Education
15% - Clinical Practice
15% - Administrative

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations; enough to carry out specific job functions of a medical school educator and clinician.

Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

-D.O. or M.D
-Must be board certified or board eligible in a primary specialty and eligible for licensure in the state of Oklahoma. Board certification by AOA or ABMS is acceptable.
-Teaching experience
-Clinical experience
-Clinical or educational research experience
-Proficiency in instructional technology and distant education technology
